Legal Counseling ( Older Adults )

This center provides services for older adults, age 60 and older who live in Hawthorne and surrounding areas. Services include recreational and social activities, legal counseling, tax information and information and referral.
Information, referral and linkage with community resources are provided for seniors who need other services.
The Traditional Legal Assistance Program (TLAP) provides legal assistance including general counseling, benefits assistance, certificates/forms assistance, naturalization assistance, and tax information provided by visiting attorneys from Bet Tzedek APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk-in for information or service. An appointment is required for legal counseling. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees depending on the activity or service desired; many services are free. There are no fees for classes.
