Supplemental Paid Sick Leave Due to COVID-19 On April 7th, 2020 Mayor Eric Garcetti issued an emergency order entitling an employee who has been employed with the same Employer from February 3, 2020 through March 4, 2020, to supplemental paid sick leave in the event of specific COVID-19 related situations including infection, quarantine, and caring for a family member.

This order shall be in effect until two calendar weeks after the expiration of the COVID19 local emergency period.
