The agency provides welfare-to-work support services for participants who receive or are eligible to receive CalWORKs benefits. There are no geographic restrictions.

Services may include general counseling services, including individual, couple and family therapy; in-person crisis intervention; medication monitoring; mental health evaluation;and psychiatric case management. An assessment for medical conditions which may aggravate the mental/emotional condition and appropriate referrals are also made.

If the child of a CalWORKs recipient has a mental health issues which contribute to the participant's barrier to self-sufficiency and employment, the program provides Children's Program services as well.

Transportation assistance may be available as resources permit. APPLICATION PROCEDURE An appointment is required. CalWORKs cases are referred by DPSS. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There is a sliding fee scale for fees. Medi-Cal and Medicare are accepted. There are no fees for CalWORKs participants.
