The agency provides utility connection and related services for people who live in Los Angeles County. The service provided is turning on and off gas meters, gas service connection and repair which includes 24-hour emergency response for service disruptions or gas leak investigation. There are no geographic restrictions.

The company is upgrading all natural gas meters with an Advanced Meter communication device. The device allows the company to transmit gas usage to the company without requiring someone to manually read the meters. An Advanced Meter Opt-Out Program has been established for residential customers who do not want an Advanced Meter installed. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for service. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees for service vary.

For the Advanced Meter Opt-Out program, the initial fee is $75 with an ongoing charge of $10 per month. For CARE customers, the initial fee is $10 with an ongoing charge of $5.00 per month.
