The program provides emergency food to anyone who resides in Chino, Claremont, Diamond Bar, La Verne, Montclair, Pomona, San Dimas and Walnut, including people who are homeless. Services include formula/baby food, commodity supplemental food program, and occasional emergency food assistance. Services are restricted to Chino, Claremont, Diamond Bar, La Verne, Montclair, Pomona, San Dimas and Walnut residents.

The program provides a bag or box of groceries which contains canned goods, cereal, powdered milk, cheese, butter and beans to last three to five days. Infant formula and baby food are also provided, depending on donations. The program also provides USDA surplus food every month to people whose income is below the Federal Poverty Level. People may be assisted once every 30 days. The amount of groceries provided varies with family size. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Walk in for service. Service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. ID for all family members, proof of residence and proof of income are required. For homeless people, an ID is required. Homeless individuals must have been a resident of the particular city served prior to becoming homeless. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
