Ongoing Emergency Food Assistance
Provider: CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF LOS ANGELES - GUADALUPE COMMUNITY CENTER
The program provides emergency food for low-income people in Agoura, Calabasas, Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Northridge, Reseda, Tarzana, West Hills, Winnetka and Woodland Hills, including people who are undocumented or homeless. The program provides a bag of groceries which includes canned and packaged dried food, and occasionally, produce. People may receive assistance once every 30 days; however, in an extreme emergency the center can provide additional assistance.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Walk in to apply for service. Picture ID for head of household and all family members; proof of income such as a check stub, TANF, SSI, SDI; a rent receipt and additional proof of residence such as an utility bill are required.
FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE
There are no fees for services.

Intake and distribution hours for new clients are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am to 11:00am; intake and distribution for pre-registered clients are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm.
