The program provides ongoing emergency food assistance for low-income people with HIV or AIDS in Los Angeles county. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to the Spanish-speaking community; and are offered at the East Los Angeles location only. Clients must be involved in a case management program in order to be eligible. Income restrictions apply; services are restricted to residents of Spa 7.

The program provides groceries twice per month for people with HIV or AIDS and their dependent families. Monthly income for a one-person household cannot exceed $745. Groceries include canned and dried goods, fresh produce and meats, and Latino foods. The program also provides personal hygiene and household supplies such as shampoo, razors and paper goods. APPLICATION PROCEDURE A referral is required. Case managers call to schedule an appointment for their clients. Proof of income and residence are required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
