The medical center provides hospital services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include inpatient and outpatient medical and psychiatric services; urgent care; and trauma/emergency services. The hospital is designated as a Level I Trauma Centers. There are no geographic restrictions.

Adult medical specialties include allergy, cardiology, diabetes, endocrine, gastroenterology, hematology, hypertension, infectious disease, nephrology, oncology, pulmonary and rheumatology. Other specialties include family medicine, interventional radiology, neurology, nuclear medicine, pain management, radiation oncology.

General and specialty surgery options include breast health, cardiothoracic (heart and lung), colo-rectal, head and neck, kidney transplants, neurosurgery (head trauma), ophthalmology/optometry, oral/maxillofacial, orthopedic, plastic and reconstructive surgery, trauma, urology, vascular.

Pediatric specialties include adolescent/teen mom, allergy, cardiology, CHDP examinations, diabetes, endocrinology, failure to thrive, gastroenterology, genetics, hematology/oncology, HIV, infectious disease, learning, medical genetics, nephrology, nursery, surgery, urgent care. CHDP provides regular, preventive health assessments and developmental assessments for children from birth to age 21 who are Medi-Cal eligible and for children from birth through age 18 whose family income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. The check-ups are offered at set intervals and may include the required Head Start or State Preschool and pre-first grade exams.

The ISAM Pediatric Clinic treats infants of substance abusing mothers. Services include developmental evaluations, early intervention, and medical care for infants exposed prenatally to drugs or alcohol.

OB/GYN specialties include abnormal cytology (PAP test results), emergency, GYN/general, GYN/oncology, infertility, OB/general, OB/diabetes, OB/high risk, tumor, urgent care, urogynecology. The OSAM Prenatal Clinic provides specialized obstetric care for chemically dependent pregnant women. Services include case/care management and comprehensive medical services for these high-risk pregnancies.

Contraception and reproductive health services are provided. Low-income individuals may qualify for services under the State Family PACT program. People whose income is less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible. Services under Family PACT include a complete physical examination, STD testing and treatment, and contraceptive counseling and services. The Family PACT program serves females from 12 to 55 years, and males from 12 to 65 years. Reproductive health services include colposcopy; case specific pregnancy termination; mammography; and pap smears.

The hospital provides application and enrollment in the My Health LA plan. My Health LA covers low income individuals (age 6 to adults) in Los Angeles County that do not have health insurance and cannot qualify for Medi-Cal.
