Perinatal Alcohol Use Disorder Treatment

The agency provides substance use disorder services for pregnant and parenting women, including those who are undocumented, (with children up to age 18) who live in Los Angeles County. Services include perinatal alcohol use disorder treatment and perinatal drug use disorder treatment, alcohol use disorder day treatment and drug use disorder day treatment. There are no geographic restrictions.

The agency accepts court ordered individuals and will provide documentation to the courts as needed.

The program includes intensive case management for women in the program. Participants receive individual and group counseling, substance abuse education, HIV education and counseling and life skills education. Parenting education and anger management are also available. Childcare is also provided for infants and children under five.

The program also provides linkages to two clinics at the adjacent Harbor-UCLA Medical Center that offer pre-natal care for substance-abusing women and perinatal services for infants who have been pre-natally exposed to alcohol or drugs. Referrals for additional mental health services are also available. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
