The hospital provides mental health services for adults. Services include general counseling services, in person crisis intervention, post disaster crisis counseling, psychiatric day treatment and telephone crisis intervention. There are no geographic restrictions.

Day treatment is provided for adults who have conditions such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, severe traumatic stress, manic-depressive syndrome and addictions. Each patient receives a free assessment and an individualized treatment program is developed.

Therapeutic Services include general counseling services; individual and group therapy; activity, occupational, recreational and physical therapies; and family education. Family therapy is an integral part of the hospital's treatment programs.

The Assessment and Referral process provides free telephone and in person crisis intervention, assessment and referral services to facilitate treatment for people who are experiencing mental health crises including those related to natural disasters. Staff are available to provide services on site for other professionals including law enforcement officers, college counselors, doctors, therapists and clergy in their offices or other locations. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Certain categories of Medicare and most private insurance are accepted. Medi-Cal is accepted for individuals age 18 to 21; older adults age 65 and older.
