The organization provides services for people with developmental disabilities for adults and children who have autism and their families. Services include disease/disability information, library audiovisual services, printed materials, specialized information and referral and subject specific public awareness/education about autism. There are no geographic restrictions.

The organization provides a variety of information, advocacy referrals and support services. A specialized information and referral line for families seeking support services operates out of the Western Regional HQ in Dallas. It also provides educational information for professionals, service providers and the public.

Families whose children have been diagnosed with autism within the past 6 months, and are age 5 and younger, may request a complimentary 100 Day Kit after completing a survey for recently-diagnosed families online. The tool kit assists families in getting the critical information they need in the first 100 days after an autism diagnosis. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call the hotline. There are no walk-in services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for families. Professional service providers are charged for bulk printed materials.
