The Office of Restorative Justice provides Catholic parish groups and individuals with inmate support volunteer opportunities at 61 Federal, State, and County correctional institutions, including juvenile detention camps. The volunteers work closely with the Archdiocesan Chaplaincy, and the focus of visting is spiritual and personal support.

The office also provides programs that reach out to victims of crime. The program of Restorative Justice attempts to facilitate healing of both the criminal and the victim by providing the inmate a way to understand the negative impact the crime has had on another person and give them an opportunity to express regret.
