Psychiatric Case Management ( Abused Children )
Provider: VIOLENCE INTERVENTION PROGRAM - COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
The agency provides mental health services for children and their non-offending family members in Los Angeles County. Services include clinical psychiatric evaluations; and psychiatric case management. There are no geographic restrictions.
Staff work with children and their non-offending family members who are affected by child abuse, neglect, sexual assault, or domestic violence.
Secondary services available to clients include mentoring, tutoring, and educational classes; and a youth prevention program that provides school-based support groups on dating violence. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; an appointment is preferred. Applicants must have or be Medi-Cal eligible. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The program accepts Medi-Cal.
