The clinic provides outpatient mental health services for individuals in the Long Beach area who are severely and persistently mentally ill. Services include anger management classes, in-person crisis intervention, case management, medication monitoring, mental health evaluation and therapy, and social rehabilitative support services. Specialized services are available for youth through the Long Beach Child and Adolescent Program. There are no geographic restrictions.

Crisis services are available for people who are experiencing psychiatric emergencies and staff can evaluate clients for involuntary hospitalization; no mobile services are provided.

Services focus on the emotional stabilization of the client, and moving the client to appropriate maintenance services at the agency or in the community. The agency evaluates the client for potential hospitalization.

The Veterans And Loved Ones Recovery (VALOR) program provides veteran reintegration counseling and support for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) for veterans and their immediate families and dependents. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Walk in for crisis intervention. Telephone or walk-ins are welcomed. New patients may walk in to be seen. Arrive 10 minutes before 8am on Mondays and Thursdays. Proof of residence, income and age is required to receive service. ID can include a driver license, state ID card, social security card, or Medi-Cal card. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are set on a sliding scale; Medi-Cal is accepted.
