Public Awareness/Education ( Long Term Care Issues )

The hospital provides a wide range of health education offerings for the community. Services include appearance enhancement consultation programs (Look Good, Feel Better) for cancer patients; breastfeeding instruction and support; childbirth education;
carseat education; disease/disabiliity information on Parkinson's Disease; expectant/new parent assistance; First Aid instruction; and pain management for people with chronic pain and for women anticipating labor or ceasarian section childbirth. There are no restrictions; classes are open to patients and to the community.
Some class sessions are held on a regular day of the week; other sessions are offered on a periodic basis; call for information. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to register for classes. Registration is required for all education programs. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
