The agency provide library services to individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include foreign language collections, library services, meeting space, municipal libraries, notary public services, public internet access sites, and reading encouragement volunteer opportunities. There are no geographic restrictions.

Services include collections of books, audio cassettes, CD's, DVDs, magazines, newspapers, video cassettes, and downloadable eBooks.

Foreign language collections include Spanish language books, magazines, newspapers and encyclopedias for adults and children.

In addition, the library contains a photocopy machine and has a community room which is available for use by community groups.

People who have cards may check out most materials for a 21 day loan period. Video and DVD rentals are for 48 hours; and other materials can be checked out for 7 days.

Special programs and services are also available and include storytimes, technology instruction, and Azusa Reads, a free tutoring service for children in grades 1 through 5.

Internet access is available for library card holders of Azusa City Library; Passport applications are accepted and notary public services are available by appointment. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information or service. Library card applicants must present photo ID and proof of California residence. Applications for minors younger than age 18 must be signed by a parent or guardian. Library cards must be renewed every three years. Appointments are required for notary services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees to use the library. There are fees for materials that are overdue or lost, for reserve requests, for interlibrary loans, for using the photocopy machine, and for some DVD and videocassette rentals. There is no charge for use of the community room for programs that are free and open to the public. Other groups pay a rental fee. There is no charge to use the internet with proof of California residency. There are fixed fees for notary services; call for more information.
