This is a government regulatory agency that is responsible for the regulation and licensing of all cannabis businesses in California. Services includes consumer product safety complaints, consumer safety standards, consumer complaints and records/licensing/permits. There are no geographic restrictions.
The department regulates the growing, manufacturing, labeling, transporting, and selling of cannabis plants; and determines where cannabis can be sold or used. Recommendations are made by a Cannabis Advisory Committee.
The department accepts complaints against licensed or unlicensed commercial cannabis activity throughout California.
