Recreational/Leisure/Arts Instruction ( Developmental Disabilities )

The agency provides recreational programs for developmentally disabled people who live, primarily, in the South Bay area. Services include field trips/excursions, recreational/leisure/arts instruction, recreational activities/sports, social clubs/events, and Special Olympics. There are geographic restrictions.
The leisure activities combine recreation, fun, and social opportunities with social learning experiences. The activities vary and current opportunities are detailed in the Vanguard, the association's newsletter. The ongoing activities include a bowling league and sports events that are related to the Special Olympics which include sports training, practice, competition and participation in local or state Special Olympics Activities.
