The agency provides camps for youth of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include residential camps for youth who are blind, visually impaired or multi-disabled. The camp is accredited by the American Camping Association. The camp serves Los Angeles county and children from the Western United States.

Camp Bloomfield is a summer residential camp in the Santa Monica Mountains that offers horseback riding, swimming, archery, hiking, the climbing wall, high ropes course, arts & crafts, music, nature and sports. Special events include Pajama Breakfasts, Campouts at the Teepee, Evening Campfire Programs, Talent Night, Picnics at the Beach, Awards Nights, outings to the Santa Monica Promenade and Parent Nights In (not all special events are available during all sessions). APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or apply online at www.juniorblind.org/camp-bloomfield FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Registration is free for campers who are blind or visually impaired. Sighted Buddies (volunteers) are charged a nominal fee of $150 and families attending Family Camp sessions are charged a $50 fee (one fee per family).
