The agency provides services for older adults who are deaf or hearing impaired, age 55 and older, in Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Services include a semi-independent living residence for older adults with hearing impairments. People must be ambulatory and able to care for themselves. There is a 24 hour emergency response system. The program includes social and recreational activities which include trips to different deaf clubs as well as visits to areas of interest in Southern California with sign language interpreters. Age restrictions apply; there are no geographic restrictions. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; an appointment is required to apply and for a screening. Tours are also available. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees for semi-private and private rooms. Call for more information.
