Senior Ride Programs
Provider: CITY OF ALHAMBRA PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
The program provides curb-to-curb transportation services for seniors, age 60 and older and people with disabilities, age 18 and older. Transportation is offered within the City of Alhambra for any purpose. Transportation is available up to two miles outside the city for medical appointments only. The program serves people who are residents of Alhambra. There are geographic restrictions.
Registration is required and takes approximately 1 week for processing. Appointments are required for rides and should be made at least 72 hours in advance.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Call for information about the program or to schedule transportation services. Reservations must be made 72 hours in advance.
Registration requires proof of age (or letter from doctor for disabled qualification) and proof of residency (utility bill or other legal mail received at qualifying address, in the applicant's name).
FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE
There are no fees for service.
