Senior Ride Programs

The program provides transportation services for people age 55 and older and persons with disabilities of any age who live in the City of Hawaiian Gardens. Services include disability related transportation, general paratransit/community ride programs and senior ride programs. Services are restricted to the cities of Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood, Cerritos, Norwalk, Artesia, Bellflower, Paramount, Downey, Long Beach, Signal Hill, Cypress, Los Alamitos, and Buena Park.

Dial-A-Ride provides curb-to-curb transportation. All vans are wheelchair accessible.

Red Route services provides transportation for older adults, age 60 and older and people with disabilities to and from local supermarkets. This service is available Thursdays only from 9:00am to 10:30am. APPLICATION PROCEDURE To register for Dial-A-Ride services, visit the Mary Rodriguez Senior Center at 21815 Pioneer Blvd. Proof of age or disability are required, as well as proof of residence in Hawaiian Gardens. Call for information or to arrange a ride; 3 day advance notice and scheduling is required. For return trips, individuals must call by 3:00pm.

The Red Route drops off at the following location:
Ranch Market 17713 Pioneer Blvd., Artesia FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
