Sexual Assault Counseling ( Hispanic/Latino Community )


The program provides counseling services for people in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to the Spanish-speaking community and include individual and family counseling for all ages. Services include crime victim/witness counseling, sexual assault counseling, and spouse/domestic partner abuse counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.

211 L A County refers only to the agency's court-accepted Victims of Crime services; it does not refer to this private company's general mental health services.

Treatment is available for behavioral problems, divorce adjustment, depression and anxiety. The program specializes in counseling for physically and sexually abused children and their families.

Families receive services primarily through the Victims of Crime program. Counseling for victims of assault, rape and domestic violence are also available. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in to apply or for service. An appointment is preferred. ID is required for service.

To qualify for Victims of Crime, victims must have an open case with the Department of Children and Family Services or have a copy a copy of a police report of the crime. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for families who qualify for the Victims of Crime program. Private insurance and managed care plans are not accepted. The fee for individual counseling is $80 for the intake and $60 for every session thereafter. The intake fee for family counseling is $130 and sessions thereafter are $85 each.
