Sexuality/Reproductive Health Education

The agency provides family planning services for adolescents age 12 and older who primarily live in the San Fernando Valley. Services include birth control counseling, contraception, a helpline, pregnancy testing, and pro-choice counseling through the Valley Youth Project; and public awareness/education. Parental consent is not required. There are no geographic restrictions.
The agency provides women's health and prenatal services. Services are provided at no or low-cost, depending on the service and patient's eligibility. VCC is also the Home of Valley Teen Clinic, which provides completely free and confidential family planning and reproductive health services to any teen ages 12-19. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to schedule an appointment. An appointment for any service can generally be scheduled within a week of the request. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Most health and family planning services are offered on a sliding fee scale from $0; Medi-Cal is accepted.
