The clinic provides health services for low-income people of all ages who live, primarily, in the greater South Bay area. The clinic targets the uninsured and under-insured population. Services include blood pressure screening and cardiovascular medicine for older adults; child health and disability prevention (CHDP) exams; community clinics; contract clinics; contraception; diabetes screening for older adults; general obstetrics; immunizations; midwifery; health/disability counseling for obesity; pap tests; pediatrics; pregnancy testing; prenatal care; pro-choice counseling; sexually transmitted disease screening; sexually transmitted disease treatment; and Tuberculosis screening for older adults. There are no geographic restrictions.

People are referred for medical services which the clinic does not offer.

Contract clinic services include outpatient health services for uninsured, low-income Los Angeles County residents of all ages, including General Relief recipients. It provides primary general medical care and dental care at specified clinics. Applicant's household income must be at or below 134% of federal poverty guidelines, or who are GR recipients.

CHDP provides regular, preventive health assessments and developmental assessments for children from birth to age 21 who are Medi-Cal eligible and for children from birth through age 18 whose family income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. The check-ups are offered at set intervals and may include the required Head Start or State Preschool and pre-first grade exams.

Family planning services include education about birth control methods and women's health care; the provision of birth control methods or devices; pregnancy testing; pregnancy counseling about the alternatives a women may wish to consider; and referrals to community resources for pregnancy termination, adoption, or other services. In addition, the Gardena clinic has a Prenatal Program which offers ongoing medical care, health education, nutritional advice and psycho-social assessments, and pediatric services.

The Gardena and Inglewood clinics also provides family planning and general medical care, including pediatrics, immunizations and vaccinations; physicals for WIC, school, and Head Start; CHDP services; health screening, including TB testing, blood pressure checks and primary care (asthma, cardiovascular, diabetes, respiratory) for older adults.
