The center provides services for older adults age 62 and older who live in the Angelus Plaza residence as well as seniors who live throughout the community. Services include congregate meals/nutrition sites, recreational activities/sports, social clubs/events and tutoring volunteer opportunities. Services are targeted, but not restricted to Los Angeles City residents.

The center provides education, recreation and social services, information and referral and volunteer opportunities for senior citizens. Activities for participants include exercise; computer classes; periodic health lectures; and educational seminars on consumer information and health benefits. The center also houses a health center the Tom Bradley Center for Health Care. St. Barnabas Senior Center provides a congregate meal and social services at this site; see the separate entry. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information; advance reservations are not required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
