The department provides public awareness/education about civil rights for people of all ages in Los Angeles county. Services include public awareness/education, printed materials, speakers/speakers bureaus and sexual harassment prevention training. There are no geographic restrictions.

A free online training course on preventing sexual harassment and abusive conduct in the workplace is available through the department's website. Trainings are customized for individuals in supervisory and nonsupervisory roles, and are available in multiple languages. Completion of the course satisfies California's legal training requirement pursuant to Government Code section 12950.1.

Employers may download free posters, guides and fact sheets on workplace discrimination, workers' rights and obligations, and family care and medical leave.
Speakers are available to present on a variety of civil rights issues. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or visit the website for information or service. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
