Special Needs Job Development

The agency provides employment services for people with little or no employment history, who require job readiness opportunities. Through the "Volunteer to Job" program, a person may acquire some job skills as a volunteer in one of the many agency programs, and at any level of experience. Services include job development and job readiness.
The person is mentored in the volunteer position while job developers find a paid job opportunity that matches their need. The program can work with people who are developmentally or emotionally disabled; disadvantaged or homeless adults; unemployed persons and others who have a difficult time finding employment because of lack of skills.
