This is an international program of sports training and athletic competition for children, age 8 to 18 and adults of any age with developmental disabilities. Competitive divisions are based on age and ability level. Special Olympics sports include aquatics, athletics, basketball, bocce, bowling, floor hockey, golf, flag football, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.

There are local offices in many areas of Los Angeles, Orange, Inland Empire, San Diego, San Bernardino, Kern, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura Counties. Training programs are conducted at local sites year-round. Competitions are held at varying times and locations. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for more information and to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
