The program provides early home and school intervention services for children from birth to age three who have special needs, and their families. The program serves children with or at risk for developmental delays and their families. Services are provided in an educationally structured learning environment and/or within the family home. The service area includes the areas served by the Eastern Los Angeles, South Central, San Gabriel/Pomona and Lanterman Regional Centers.

Services available include educational intervention and parent group meetings. Physical and/or ocupational therapy, infant and family mental health, and speech and language consultation services are also available. Children enrolled in the structured learning environment attend three days per week and receive up to 3 home visits per month. Children receiving home only services receive 4 to 10 visits per month. APPLICATION PROCEDURE A referral from the appropriate Regional Center is required for service. However, individuals who are not currently connected with Regional Center may be referred directly to the program and the center will coordinate referral to Regional Center, if appropriate, or will assist them with other referrals. Parents of infants and toddlers without disabilities may contact the center directly for information about available openings. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The cost of the services can be paid by Regional Center or private individuals.

Service hours
Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm; Friday, 8:00am to 12:00pm. Structured Learning is available Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00am to 12:00pm. Home visits can be arranged during the week.
