Summer Youth Employment Programs
The Los Angeles County Youth at Work program helps place LA County youth ages 14 to 24 that have a right to work in the United States with in a paid job that leads to a long-term career pathway in high growth, in demand industries. The program assists with resume preparation, hands on job training, and practice interview skills. There are no geographic restrictions.
Priority youth populations include school dropouts, CalWORKs participants, probation youth, foster youth, TAY youth, homeless youth, youth from low-income households, LGBTQ youth, pregnant or parenting youth, youth with disabilities, and youth who are English language learners.
