Provider: LGBT NATIONAL HELP CENTER

The program provides information and referral targeted to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include online directory assistance, helpline counseling for youth and young adults up to age 25, specialized information and referral for gay/lesbian issues and telephone crisis intervention. There are no geographic restrictions.

The LGBT National Hotline is for individuals of any age. The LGBT National Youth Talkline focuses on individuals 25 years and younger. The LGBT National Resource Database provides an online search engine. All are confidential programs that offer peer counseling and support as well as information and local resources for callers, including gay-friendly religious organizations, sports leagues, student groups and LGBT-friendly businesses.
