Telephone Reassurance ( Older Adults )
Provider: WATTS LABOR COMMUNITY ACTION COMMITTEE - THERESA LINDSAY CENTER
The center provides a variety of services for adults age 60 and older who live in the 9th council district (Central and part of South Central Los Angeles). Most of the center's services are flexible and seniors from any area may participate in the programs; however, some programs have specific geographic areas served. Services include information and referral; forms assistance; affordable housing assistance; case management; telephone reassurance; friendly visitors; health screening; a security crime program; recreational and social activities; periodic legal counseling clinics provided by volunteer staff from Bet Tzedek Legal Services; and a bulletin board and monthly newsletter to alert people about upcoming events and services.

There are no fees for services, but donations are suggested.
