The center provides domestic violence services for low-income people who live in Los Angeles County. Services include child custody/visitation assistance; legal counseling; specialized information and referral services for battered women; spouse/domestic partner abuse prevention; and temporary restraining orders. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to monolingual Asians/Pacific Islanders. The program also serves CalWORKS recipients. There are no geographic restrictions.

The center provides spousal abuse prevention for the API community including community education and translated materials about battered women's rights and legal procedures. The referral service includes non-legal agencies that are targeted to help API women in a culturally appropriate manner. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. An appointment is required or for a referral. The agency cannot serve walk-ins. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for most services; there are no fees for those who receive or are eligible to receive CalWORKs.
