The center provides thrift shop volunteer opportunities for people 18 years and older to assist with sorting, display and sale of used clothing in the Center's thrift store. Used clothing and small household items are donated by the community. Some are sold to support the charitable programs of the center. Some clothing is distributed to homeless and low-income residents of the San Gabriel area. Volunteers should be able to lift items and are encouraged to commit to a regular work shift. There are no geographic restrictions for volunteers. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information or to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees to volunteer.
