Transitional Housing/Shelter ( Single Women )

Provider: A BETTER LIVING PERMANENT HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES

The program provides shelter for single men and women in Los Angeles County. Services include transitional shelter/housing. The program has three locations: North Hills, Pasadena and Reseda. There are no geographic restrictions.

The shelter can accommodate 17 men and women. The program provides bedding, linen and three meals per day are provided. Residents are required to respect house rules, including no drinking or drugs. Supportive services include case management, employment training and assistance, counseling, health and wellness training, budgeting education, transportation assistance and life skills education. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply for service. An appointment is preferred. ID is required and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance is required within the first week of arrival. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are $750 per month at the North Hills and Reseda locations; and $875 at the Pasadena location.
