Tutoring Services ( At Risk Youth )

Provider: CITY OF LOS ANGELES HOUSING AND COMMUNITY INVESTMENT DEPARTMENT - BOYLE HEIGHTS FAMILYSOURCE - EL CENTRO DE AYUDA

The division provides youth services through a network of contracted agencies and at seven Youth and Family Centers in the City of Los Angeles; see the site list. Services include adult/child mentoring programs, computer classes, recreational activities and tutorial programs for at risk youth. Services are restricted to residents of the City of Los Angeles.

The centers provide a variety of programs for youth. Computer classes for children, teens and adults are also offered at the centers. The program provides tutorial services in school subjects and homework assistance. Many centers provide after school activities for neighborhood youth. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian to enroll in the college support program. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
