An online Interactive Sample Ballot is available for voters to access, review and mark their selections prior to going to a Vote Center. This tool IS NOT online voting and does not store any identifiable information; once the sample ballot is accessed, all selections are saved to the user's phone, computer or personal device.

The registrar provides political services for Los Angeles County. Services include conducting elections and voter registration. The office is responsible for registration of voters; maintenance of voter files; conduct of federal, state, local, and special elections; and the verification of initiatives, referendums and recall petitions. There are no geographic restrictions.

The registrar conducts local, county, state and special district elections which includes providing voters with sample ballots and election information, including special voter services for people with disabilities. For voters with special needs such as use of wheelchair voting booths, audio ballots and other assistive services at the polling places call the phone number for Voters with Special Needs - Information. The registrar also accepts complaints about election and voter fraud.

Assistance is available for bilingual voters for translated election materials in Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai and Vietnamese - call the phone number for Sample Ballot Translation.

You may be eligible to vote if you are a citizen of the United States, a resident of California, at least 18 years of age, not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony and not declared mentally incompetent by a court.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or to make a complaint. Voters can call for polling place and precinct information on election day. Mail-in voter registration forms can be requested via the voter registration line Monday through Sunday, 24-hours per day; they are also available at most County buildings, DMV offices, post offices and public libraries. Voter registration can also be completed via the internet at www.lavote.net. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are set fees for services.
