Welfare Rights Assistance ( Armenian Community )

The agency provides advocacy services for low to moderate income individuals and families with language barriers and for newly immigrated refugees. Services include welfare rights assistance and certificates/forms assistance. There are no geographic restrictions.
The agency also provides assistance with educational, employment, legal, medical, housing, transportation, refugee youth mentoring and utility issues; referrals to other community resources; and advocacy to ensure that services are obtained. Staff also assess medical needs and provide linkage with care providers; assess housing needs and assist in locating emergency and permanent housing. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
