The agency provides youth services for youth ages 14 to 21 who live in Compton. Services include job readiness and work experience. There are geographic restrictions.
The center offers job readiness training and paid work experience for Compton youth. The program provides youth with work in their community assisting City maintenance staff in the areas of removal of street trash and illegal street signs, bus stop clean-up, thoroughfare clean-up, parkways and park maintenance, exterior City facility maintenance and Compton Creek clean-up. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
