The program provides youth services to ages 11-18 in the Northwest Pasadena and West Altadena communities who have been impacted by poverty, community violence, gangs, and incarceration. Services include youth enrichment programs for at risk youth, and youth violence prevention . The program is restricted to youth attending school or living within the Pasadena Unified School District.

The Youth of Promise program offers a year-round youth development program which provides mentoring, support, and resources for high risk youth to encourage academic success and avoid joining gangs or participating in other illegal activities. Services include academic tutoring, community service activities, life skills workshops, field trips, college and career planning. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
