BOYLE HEIGHTS  FIRE - DIAL 2-1-1 FOR SHELTER

Boyle Heights Fire

211 LA is working with Airbnb.org to help people impacted by the Boyle Heights warehouse fire connect to free temporary emergency housing support and other available resources. 

If you or someone you know was affected by the fire and needs help, dial 2-1-1 now to connect with our team. 211 LA is available 24/7, with support in multiple languages and TTY accessibility. 

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please dial 9-1-1.

What is Kick it California?

It is a free counseling and resource to help you or a loved one quit smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco. Participants are connected with a highly trained specialist who works with them one-on-one to create a customized quit plan.

211 LA is a partner agency with Kick It California (KIC). If you or someone you know wants help quitting smoking or vaping, KIC is here to support you.

After you enroll, a Kick it California coach will call you within a few days to ask a few questions about your tobacco or nicotine use and help establish a personalized quit plan. After the call, you will receive a $20 gift card from KIC.

211 Day 2026 Marks 45 Years of Service to Los Angeles County

On February 11th, 211 LA celebrated 45 years of giving hope to residents of Los Angeles County during their time of need, with over 29 million calls since 1981. To mark the milestone, 211 LA hosted 211 Day at the Elks Lodge in Pasadena, where state and local leaders honored the organization for its community service.

211 LA is partnering with Airbnb.org to arrange free temporary housing for residents displaced by the January 28, 2026 explosion at a four unit apartment building in Bell Gardens. Impacted residents are encouraged to dial 2-1-1 for immediate and ongoing support.
