The California Alliance of Information and Referral Services (CAIRS) is a non-profit industry association providing professional development opportunities for information and referral/assistance providers. CAIRS presents a unique 5-part webinar series on Healing-Centered Engagement (HCE). This webinar series will examine how the HCE paradigm can critically transform providers’ approaches to trauma-informed care to healing-centered engagement in informing direct advocacy for real solutions.
The 2023 Webinar Wednesdays offers a healing-centered approach to addressing trauma requires a different question that moves beyond “what happened to you” to “what’s right with you.” It views those exposed to trauma as agents in creating their well-being rather than victims of traumatic events.
