The Los Angeles County Regional Coordinating Council for Aging and Disability (RCC) is creating a collaborative, efficient, and equitable system that enhances the quality of life for older adults and persons living with disabilities. The goal is to align and optimize public and private resources across health, public health, and social care sectors. Responding to the Provider Survey will help identify coordinated service networks and service gaps, with questions structured around key social service domains.

RCC Purpose. Led by June Simmons, President & CEO of Partners in Care Foundation (PICF) and Dr. Laura Trejo, former Director of the Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department, the RCC brings together public agencies, health systems, and community-based organizations to build a unified, “no wrong door” elder care network. Together, we set common goals, remove barriers to access, and align operations and funding, so older adults and caregivers experience warm handoffs, timely services, and equitable outcomes across LA County.

Committee Purpose. Chaired by Maribel Marin, 211 LA Executive Director and Bertha Sanchez-Hayden, Bet Tzedek Associate Vice President of Justice for Seniors & Dependent Adults, the Resources & Data Sharing Committee is charged with identifying, mapping resources across systems to provide coordinated, comprehensive support for older adults and people with disabilities.
