Community Resource Advisor - Remote Work From Home With a Fixed Schedule

POSITION SUMMARY:

211 LA Community Resource Advisors staff our call center and receive incoming inquiries via telephone, SMS Chat, web chat, or other platforms. Upon receiving an inquiry, the Community Resource advisor will conduct a needs assessment and will provide appropriate referrals to meet the inquirer’s needs. This information exchange usually occurs in a single contact, culminating in the provision of agency referrals, mediated contact with an agency, or advocacy with an agency on behalf of the individual requesting assistance. As a Community Resource Advisor, you’ll report to a Performance Coach. All calls are recorded for quality and training purposes. Regular Community Resource Advisors are part of a bargaining unit represented by SEIU.

Program Assistant (Temporary)

NOTE:  This position is conducted remotely; however, it may require occasional in-person meetings 

The Program Assistant will be responsible for leading the agency’s functions related to assisting the Winter Shelter Program Manager in facilitating the program's operations, ensuring that they are connected, and adding value to the program's team members and the communities it serves. This position would also play a role in easing the administrative burden on the Leadership Team (Program Director, Program Manager, and Program Coordinators) as is possible and necessary. 

The Program Assistant is passionate about providing high-level administrative support to ensure leadership can efficiently accomplish key tasks and execute on program priorities. This team member will monitor program data, run reports, and ensure that reports are submitted in a timely manner. The  Program Assistant will have a strong ability to prioritize tasks and help address the most important issues in a timely manner. The Program Assistant will also have strong communication skills that help the Program Manager manage professional contacts and network providers.
