Community Resource Advisors (Multiple Positions)

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a 211 LA Community Resource Advisor, you’ll be at the frontline of our call center, handling incoming distress calls via telephone, SMS Chat, web chat, or other platforms. You’ll be dealing with sensitive, crisis-related topics such as suicide, abuse, mental illness, and more. The job is challenging, emotionally demanding, and deeply impactful. Your role involves conducting needs assessments and providing appropriate referrals while maintaining empathy and a non-judgmental approach. All calls are recorded for quality and training purposes, and you’ll report to a Performance Coach. Regular Community Resource Advisors are part of a bargaining unit represented by SEIU.

Temporary Housing Coordinator

Note: This is a remote position.

The Temporary Housing Coordinator will be responsible for leading the agency’s functions related to enabling call-handling specialists to deliver consistent quality service to residents of Los Angeles County with Winter Shelter-related services, housing resources, and additional appropriate referrals to meet their needs. The Housing Coordinator will continuously guide and instruct staff to ensure that the Winter Shelter-Augmented Winter Shelter program and projects achieve contract requirements.

Program Manager

Note: This is a Remote position.

The Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Program Manager will be responsible for leading the agency’s functions related to developing, implementing, and overseeing 211 programs. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for program design, stakeholder engagement, planning, organization, resourcing, team management, and meeting program goals, with support from your direct supervisor.

Housing Director

Note: This position is conducted remotely; however, occasional in-person meetings are required.

The position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring processes to ensure 100% contract compliance with all Housing related programs.  The Director of Housing Services will work with all aspects of the operation to meet the requirements of assigned contracts, create operational efficiencies, and raise the level of service quality delivered to the unhoused in Los Angeles County.  This role also has a high level of interface with our housing funding partners such as LAHSA (Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority), and DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services).
