Supervised Living for Older Youth

The agency provides transitional housing services for emancipated youth through the agency's Youth Moving On program, which provides former foster youth or Probation youth, age 18 to 24, with transitional housing and supportive services. Service includes supervised living for older youth. There are no geographic restrictions.

To apply the youth must have been in foster care or probation, they must be Medi-Cal eligible, they should already have obtained their GED or high school diploma, and should show the internal motivation to successfully complete the program.

Program components include mental and physical wellness, a life skills component, and mentoring. Residents are encouraged to find work and/or complete their higher education goals.
