The agency provides consumer assistance to tenants living in properties that are in foreclosure in Los Angeles County and throughout the State of California. Services include tenants rights information/counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.

Tenant rights information/counseling services are provided over the telephone through the agency hotline. The hotline empowers tenants who live in properties which are in foreclosure and who are struggling with utilities disconnection, fighting to recover security deposits, and trying to stay in their homes as long as possible. APLICATION PROCEDURE Call for service, or apply online at the agency website. Counselors will call individuals who complete the online intake form. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service; however, donations are requested. Service is free for Tenants Together members who volunteer 10 hours/year or donate $25/year. This is tracked on the honor system. Non-members simply leave a message stating they are interested in becoming a member.
