Tutoring Services (Youth, Learning Disabilities)

The program provides education services for families with youth, age 6 to 18, who have learning disabilities and who live in the East San Gabriel Valley. Services include college/university entrance examination preparation and tutoring services. Services are restricted to the East San Gabriel Valley.

The learning center offers an individualized tutoring program. Following an evaluation of each student, a prescriptive remedial program is provided by California credentialed teachers on a one-to-one basis. Tutoring is provided in the following areas: Basic Academics including phonics, reading comprehension, elementary and advanced math and creative writing as well as Neural Processing. The program is designed to help students who have a short attention span, poor concentration and comprehension; and students who are experiencing failure and/or who have lost incentive to learn.

The SAT Review program provides assistance to college-bound high school students to help them with the Scholastic Aptitude Test for college entrance.
