Community Shelters

The program provides emergency shelter for males 18 to 24 years who are homeless and in the Los Angeles area, including youth in the foster care system. The maximum length of stay is thirty days, however there is a possibility of an extension. There are no geographic restrictions.

The shelter provides 12 beds. Residents are required to cooperate with their set case management plan goals, help with daily chores and participate in group meetings. Participants are required to leave the shelter during the daytime to actively participate in employment searches or possibly attend an educational program. A case management plan is required for all residents. Support services available include counseling and referrals to health education, job placement, legal services and medical care according to individual need.
