The department provides law enforcement services for the city of Baldwin Park. Services include general law enforcement, criminal and municipal code violation investigations, abandoned vehicle reporting, crime prevention, emergency protective orders and temporary restraining orders (TRO), and traffic accident response and investigation. The service area is restricted to the city of Baldwin Park.
Police reports can be requested seven days after the complaint is filed.
Temporary restraining order assistance is on a short term (72 hrs.), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location.
